ABEC KENYA

The first Africa Business Ethics Conference (ABEC) was convened in Nairobi, Kenya, in June 2019 bringing together business leaders, compliance specialists, policy-makers, and other stakeholders. The conference was highly successful in raising the awareness of business ethics and anti-corruption compliance, the important role it plays in frontier markets such as Kenya, and the anti-corruption resources that CIPE and its partners have to offer. This conference was the first of its kind that focused on private sector solutions to mitigate corruption and highlighted successful efforts of business and government cooperation to tackle corruption both on the continent and internationally. It served as an opportunity to gather business leaders interested in collaborating to combat corruption and strengthen a network of allies and partners dedicated to eradicating corruption in Kenya
