The ABEC Anti-Corruption Idea Challenge seeks to aggregate new ideas from individuals, groups, and organizations on how the existing anti-corruption agenda and campaign can be improved upon to make the fight more effective and impactful. This is an opportunity to showcase intellectual content, outcome of research findings and inventions to audience comprising public and private sector operators and managers who may adopt and implement your pitch.

  • The top 5 ideas will take part in a 1-week bootcamp to develop their ideas into concepts and proposals
  • The top 3 winners will receive token cash prizes.
  • The winning concept or proposal will have an opportunity to pitch to donors for seed funding or further assistance and will be sponsored to participate in ABEC 2021, which is set to hold in Ethiopia.

How to Submit Your Pitch for the ABEC 2020 Challenge 

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Step 1: Create a 3-minute visual-audio recording (in English) that summarizes the proposal, initiative, idea, or concept that you wish to enter for the challenge – this is the pitch.

The pitch may be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation (recommended) of no more than 20 slides.

Step 2: Make sure that the pitch articulates the problem, discusses the proposed solution, and analyses the anticipated results. If the pitch is not fully developed at the time of submission or you anticipate contingencies and challenges, you may state them.
