ABEC ICN

Integrity Champions Network(ICN)

One of the resolutions at the ABEC 2021 was the formation of the Integrity Champions Network (ICN) to maintain the ethics conversation between the conferences. On 8th December 2022, we launched the Integrity Champions Network whose goal is to inspire & build a community of individuals committed to compliance and ethical business practice through information provision, ongoing training, and networking.
According to Lars Benson, Regional Director Africa, CIPE despite efforts, most people believe that corruption is getting worse globally and attribute this to the fact that it is a complex issue that requires collective action, including legislation such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in the United States. The actions that helped reduce corruption in the United States were granting women the right to vote, professionalizing government service, and empowering women to vote and bring change to different industries.
